Memorial Day

We had a fun (and busy) Memorial Day.  We spent the afternoon at our friends (The Nietschmann’s) house, where the kids had tons of fun playing on an inflatable water slide and a HUGE homemade slip ‘n slide (complete with soap to help them go faster).  After playing in the water, we went to Pelican’s for sno-balls, brought Luke home for a nap, then the big kids and I went on a search for a zebra webkinz for Haley (and ended up buying all the kids one), then to Wal-Mart to pick up some last minute cookout things and finally got home around 5:45.  We were planning on eating at 6:30, but ran into some issues with the grill (no gas, then leaking gas) and didn’t get to eat until around 8:00.  Whew, what a day!  Glad we got to spend the time together, though.  It’s so nice when Paul gets to be home with us!
