Haley with her first big catch. Okay, so it wasn't so big, but she was sure excited! She later told me the fish was "a little bit dead right on the side, because it had a big cut and it looked like it was bleeding." (It was just the gill!)
Paul building the fire and the rest of us just relaxing. We always make him do the hard work ;)
Colton didn't like the roasted marshmallows or the smores, but he LOVED the CHOCOLATE!!
Good thing we had lots of baby wipes!
Haley fishing with her DaddyOkay, seriously... if I have to look at "Easter...a little late" one more time, I'm gonna be sick.
So yes, I've been a complete blog slacker and I have no good excuse, so I won't dwell on it. I'll just say that I WANT to do better and hopefully I can get caught up a bit and do a better job of keeping up. I love my family more than anything and I don't want my memories of these special times to fade. On that note, I'll just start from our most recent adventure...
(These pics took forever to upload, so I know everything's out of order, but I'm trying not to care. )
This past Friday, we took our first family camping trip that included Colton. Yep, it's been a little while since the last one. It was really fun and everyone enjoyed it. We'll probably do it again soon, but we'll have to get some new sleeping arrangements, cause Paul and I are too old to sleep on the ground!
As Colton would say, "Peace out!"

YEAH You're back! I too was getting sick of seeing Easter..a little late! I am glad to hear nothing other than you being a total slacker was keeping you from blogging. LOL!!
Anyways, your kids are so big and beautiful! That is cool you all still go camping. I remember some fun times at girls camp with you! We were so cool back then, sigh....I am too old to sleep on the ground too. You should try the double top blow up mattress, it is pretty comfy.
Welcome back!
Take care.
